HCS 2023-24 Budget Passes 
The HCS 2023-24 Budget passed this evening! Heartfelt gratitude to the HCS community for your unwavering commitment and support of students, teaching, and learning in the Honeoye Central School District!  

Budget Results for Proposition One: 2023-24 Budget
  • 312 "yes" votes and 134 "no" votes (70% approval rate)
 
BOE Election Results
Congratulations to Cynthia Sherman and Germain Morgan who have successfully secured Board of Education seats for three (3) year terms commencing July 1, 2023, and expiring on June 30, 2026.
Cynthia Sherman - 316 votes
Carole Baker - 222 votes
Germain Morgan - 226 votes

The Board of Education will officially accept the budget vote and BOE election results during a Regular Meeting of the Board tomorrow evening, 5/17, at 6:30.  

Special thanks to the following individuals:
  • District Clerk, Jennifer Green, for her role in coordination of this paramount district event, 
  • Mike Bastian for his service as business official and role in the development of the 2023-24 budget, 
  • The HCS administrative team for engaging in courageous conversations about purpose and programming specific to budget,

  • The HCS Board of Education... their leadership and support is vital to our work.
