	Career Cruising is a database for searching careers that exist that might be of interest. If you need to find out about jobs, from accountant to zookeeper, this is the place to look! Please see library staff for password.

SEARCH ENGINES

	An internet based search engine for general information. Provides searches on web, images, maps, news, and more.
	Websites classified by the DDCS (Dewey Decimal Classification System) for K - 12 students.
	A research organizer for teachers and students, search based on K-2, 3-5 or so on.

GRANT FUNDED DATABASE ACKNOWLEDGMENTS

EBSCO Products, Gale Products, Grolier Products, and Proquest Platinum databases are provided by the New York State Library. NOVELNY is a pilot project for the Statewide Internet Library connecting New Yorkers to 21st century information. NOVELNY is supported with temporary federal Library Services and Technology Act funds from the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS).

Rochester Regional Library Council purchased First Search / World Cat OnLine and the Rochester Democrat & Chronicle for school libraries in the area with LSTA funds.

The School Library System office purchased TeachingBooks for all school libraries and Career Cruising for a limited number of schools from the School Library System budget.
