General Class Information

Daily Snack - Please send your child with one snack and one drink each day.

 

Absences  -On the first day of a child’s unexpected absence:

Parents should call the “Attendance Hotline” (24 hours a day) at 229-5171, extension 6200. The message should include the name and grade of the child, the reason he/she is absent or tardy, and the day or time he/she is expected to return. If the child does not return to school on or before the day or time originally indicated, the procedure should be repeated.

 

Changes in Dismissal - If travel arrangements change on a certain day, please send in a note with your child. Should there be a change during the school day, please call the office and they will alert us of the change.

 

Take Home Folders - Folders will go home every day. Please place any notes in this folder as they are checked every day. All classroom work and important school correspondence will be sent home in this folder.

 

Birthdays - We love to celebrate birthdays! Parents are invited to send in a treat for the class. Treats must be store bought. The school is unable to distribute party invitations.
