Meet the Secondary Principal Events

Good Morning,

As you know, the Honeoye Central School District is pleased to welcome Nathan Schneckenburger next week as our Secondary School Principal. Mr. Schneckenburger will be visiting the district on Friday, 1/14, and is prepared to officially launch his role as BULLDOG PRINCIPAL on Tuesday, January 18 (Reminder: There is no school on Monday, 1/17).  
 
In preparation for onboarding Mr. Schneckenburger to the district, HCS administration has been collaborating closely with him over the last few weeks to ensure that we are able to "hit the ground running" on January 18.  Additionally, Mr. Schneckenburger has creatively carved out dedicated time to conduct 1:1 meetings with a vast majority of his secondary faculty and staff members prior to his arrival.

To meet and learn more about Mr. Schneckenburger, we invite members of the HCS school community to join us for a “Meet the Principal” virtual event on January 18, from 6:00 - 7:00pm, or on January 19, from 9:00 - 10:00am. GoogleMeet links included in ParentSquare communication.

 

The structure for our time together will include a facilitated Question and Answer period (prepared questions in advance) followed by time for the community to pose any additional questions they may have for Mr. Schneckenburger.  Please Note: Mr. Schneckenburger will be sharing information in the upcoming weeks about opportunities for in person meetings with him. I would be remiss if I did not take this opportunity to also thank Kathy Hargis for her service as Interim Secondary Principal at the POUND while we awaited arrival of Mr. Schneckenburger.  Mrs. Hargis has done a wonderful job supporting students and staff since her arrival the first week in December.  She has consistently collaborated with Mr. Schneckenburger to address issues and to launch enhancements to existing operational practices.  Please join me in expressing gratitude to Mrs. Hargis for her time, commitment and efforts at the secondary level (585.229.5171 ext 3012, [email protected]).
