Dear HCS Families,

Wow! What a warm and wonderful welcome! I am truly honored to have been selected as Honeoye's Elementary Principal- I can already tell what an exceptional learning community Honeoye is for kids. First, I want to thank all the families who posted pictures and notes in the padlet! I first saw the padlet the Sunday night before my first day and it made me feel so welcomed- and for sure made it easier walking into the building that first day. Each time a new message or picture is posted, it brings a smile to my face and I thank you! I am enjoying getting to know the students and staff, and look forward to meeting those from the community sometime in the near future. As we are getting to know each other, you will learn that I feel communication is key, and that your voice matters. Please feel free to call 229-5171 x3032 or email me (natalie.pfluke@honeoye.org) anytime with questions, ideas to share, comments or concerns.

I have been a proud educator for more than twenty years, having worked with students ranging in age from Kindergarten through 12th grade. I have worked in a variety of roles, including high school math teacher, elementary school teacher, Expanded Learning Coordinator, and most recently, as an Elementary School Assistant Principal. I view education as a life-long process and look forward to spending my first few months getting to know the students of Honeoye and their families, the faculty, and the community.

As for me, I have 3 children ages 9, 12 and 19, and we enjoy camping and boating in the summer, and ice skating and watching football in the winter. We are avid Bills fans, except for my 9 year old who loves everything and anything Patrick Mahomes (and he likes to preface that this was before the Chiefs won the Super Bowl!)- haha.

As your Principal, it is important to me that everyone in our learning community feel welcome, supported, and comfortable sharing in a positive, fun, and nurturing environment. I welcome your input and feedback and I look forward to a long-lasting partnership!

To our students: Bulldog Four:

You are smart Be Responsible

You are brave Be Respectful

You are kind Be Safe

You are important Be Kind

We are stronger together than we are apart!

Sincerely,

Natalie Pfluke
