The tradition of strength in music continues at Honeoye Central School District with the selection of three students earning All-State honors.

From the junior high, Lilah D. and William G. were selected to participate in the Zone 2 Area All-State festival. Lilah was named for Treble Choir and William was selected on clarinet. From the high school, senior Owen H. was selected on euphonium. The festival, which includes the top musicians in the seven-county region, was held on November 22 at Churchville-Chili High School.

In addition, Owen was named as a euphonium alternate for the Conference All-State festival, which includes musicians from the entire state of New York. The Conference All-State event takes place December 6 in Rochester.
