Honeoye’s annual Hometown Christmas event on December 5 was filled with joy, smiles and community spirit, and Honeoye Middle School students played a big role in the celebration.
After visiting with Santa, children were invited to stop by a special game area created and run by middle school members of the Youth to Youth, Art Club, and/or student council. HCS students designed and built a variety of holiday-themed games, from festive ornament tosses to stock the stocking challenges. Children were able to pick a small prizes after playing a game. The Middle School students showed their creativity, teamwork and enthusiasm and helped bring an extra spark to the evening.
The students enjoyed watching younger children light up with excitement as they played the games and collected their prizes. They were proud to share in the Christmas cheer and make memories for families in our community.
Thank you to all of the Middle School students who volunteered their time and talents your contribution helped make Hometown Christmas a magical night in Honeoye!
