Superintendent Natalie Pfluke aims to do what’s right for Honeoye students, and she knows that starts with hearing what they have to say.
That’s why she helped kick off a new idea called “Table Talk With the Superintendent.” Recently, Mrs. Pfluke set up a table outside the cafeteria during lunch for Middle and High students to stop by, chat, and share what’s on their minds.
Some students talked with her one-on-one, while others dropped their ideas into a suggestion box for a later look.
“It’s really important to me to be both accessible and approachable,” Mrs. Pfluke said. “Students are here every day, and they have great ideas about how to make school even better. I loved the conversations we had, and I’m excited to see what we can do with their suggestions.”
Mrs. Pfluke, who works with district social worker Molly Perrin and science teacher Dan Dalmat to meet with students, plans to have more “Table Talk” sessions through the school year and welcomes input from all Honeoye students!
