Our Middle School Student Council recently came together to make a meaningful impact in our community.
Students worked collaboratively to make homemade dog treats and to create donation areas for dog toys and package treats. All of these items were given to Gordy and Friends, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping dogs in need.
What makes this project even more special is that Gordy and Friends was founded by our very own Middle School English teacher, Kathy Karle-Walsh. Through this service-learning initiative, students were able to connect compassion, teamwork and community service in a powerful way.
We are proud of our Middle School Student Council members for demonstrating leadership, kindness and a commitment to giving back. Their efforts will bring joy and comfort to many of our furry friends.
