Important Update for Playground Build Volunteers

Good morning HCS families and community members,

As excitement continues to build for our Community Playground Build, we wanted to share an important update regarding childcare. 

Unfortunately, due to our ongoing capital project, the school building and grounds have become an active construction zone. When initially planning for the playground build more than a year ago, we had hoped to provide childcare, but we could not have anticipated the extent of the construction and the resulting safety limitations. As a result, we are unable to safely offer childcare during the playground build, and we sincerely apologize.

If you were planning to volunteer but are no longer able to because of this change, please respond to this message so we can update our volunteer lists.

If you know of an individual, organization, or community group that may be willing to help provide childcare or support in this area, we would love to hear from you. Please respond to this message with any ideas or potential resources.

Thank you for your flexibility, understanding, and continued support. This playground is truly a community effort, and we are incredibly grateful for everyone helping bring this dream to life.
